Bengalis used to celebrate the birth anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore according to the Bengali calendar ,the day is renowned as Pochise Boishakh. The day is called Rabindra Jayanti. He was the Grandson of Prince Dwarkanath Tagore,first Indian Industrialist & Son of Maharshi Debendra Nath Tagore. He was the youngest of all 14 siblings.
